Benefit of decentralized mutual aid system during large disaster
1 When suffering large disaster, centralized organization may overload in a short of time. And during the time, the resource and financial help cannot be given to the people who really need help. Decentralized mutual aid system does not have this issue and work more efficient during such time.
2 Centralized system is inevitable opacity. Decentralized mutual aid system is more transparent, auditable and equity.
3 Centralized system has single points of failure issue if the operation team is fail to operate. Decentralized mutual aid system will not crash because one or two persons issue, and is more reliable.
